Hello everyone! In today’s article, we bring you some new food and wine experiences for all enology lovers that can be carried out in the facilities of our My Way lounge restaurant.
For some time now, we have launched a new proposal for a wine list open to all those who feel interested in tasting a variety of quality wines in an environment decorated completely in the style of 1950s New York.
What are the food and wine days?
This new gastronomic conception has its roots in the early nineteenth century in the hands of the French as a cultural and experiential sample of the populations of France with exports wine. The main objective of these gastronomic days was for each town to present its native products to gastronomists or expert kitchen critics, eager to learn about the specialties of each region in order to receive special economic or prestigious distinctions.</p >
Currently this type of activity is on the rise along with wine tourism, although unlike the latter it mainly consists of a close experience in what that we understand as “good eating” and “good drinking” to get to know the native flavors of each region regardless of experience or knowledge.
With these new food and wine experiences we want to invite all our customers to enjoy the art of wine and learn about its main characteristics of international importation together with appellations of origin recognized as Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Penedés and etc.
Within our wine list you will be able to discover a fusion of flavors and essences of different types of wines from all over the territory, in which 3 main types of wine stand out, recognized as: red wines, white and rosé wines.
Do you know the differences between them?
Red wines: Are those that are made with red grapes (red) during a certain maturation period. Due to their color they are also commonly known as “red wines” and are often combined with meats and cheeses. The most common varieties are fruity, spaced and balsamic.
White wines: They are those that are made with white grapes with a more careful fermentation process and with fewer added sugars. It is usually combined with fish or shellfish and the most common varieties are dry, semi-dry, abocado, semi-sweet and sweet wines.
Rosé wines: Are those that are made with red grapes and white grapes, but only until the wine obtains a pinkish color with a more delicate care process. Its flavor is usually lighter than the other types, it is the most popular during the summer season. The best known varieties are Garnacha, Tempranillo and Carbenet Sauvignon.
With this short introduction you already know what you need to start your food and wine experiences on your own. Now you will be able to appreciate and differentiate their distinctive flavor with the naked eye, however when you try them, you must keep in mind that each appellation of origin “has a special flavor” and therefore the Taste may vary depending on your region.
Each denomination that we serve in our menu has endless options to offer of flavors that you yourself must discover when you pick up your glass… You may be tempted to make comparisons or even have different tastes than the other diners who accompany you, in this situation we can only tell you:
“Taste each wine your way”
